Resuming Travel to the Aran Islands for all Visitors
Statement from Island Ferries Teo
The Government confirmed on June 25th, that travel to the Aran Islands is permitted for all visitors under phase three of the easing restrictions. As a result, Aran Island Ferries will begin carrying visitors to all three islands on Monday, June 29th.
We are really looking forward to welcoming passengers on board our vessels, and getting back to what we do best: providing a safe, comfortable journey for passengers to the Aran Islands.
Our Covid-19 Safety Charter outlines the additional protocols we have adopted to ensure the safety of our passengers and staff. These measures, advised by relevant authorities including the World Health Organisation (WHO) and Health Service Executive (HSE), must be adhered to at all times. We will continue to work with these authorities, updating our Safety Charter and guidelines if necessary.
We ask that everyone on board remember they have a duty of care to their fellow passengers and in particular, the Island residents, who have to date managed to keep the islands Covid-free. The ‘new normal’ requires us to plan and prepare to protect each other, by adhering to guidelines stated in our Safety Charter, such as the use of face coverings, which are now mandatory on board.
Prepare for a warm welcome on board our ferries; we can’t wait to see you again, and wish you a pleasant time on the Aran Islands.
Warm wishes from our family to yours,
The O’Briens, and all of the team at Aran Island Ferries
Ráiteas ó Island Ferries Teo
Dheimhnigh an Rialtas ar 25ú Meitheamh, go gceadaítear taisteal chuig Oileáin Árann do gach cuairteoir faoi chéim a trí de na srianta maolaithe. Mar thoradh air sin, tosóidh Aran Island Ferries ag tabhairt cuairteoirí chuig na trí oileán ar 29ú Meitheamh.
Táimid ag súil go mór le fáilte a chur roimh phaisinéirí ar bord ár mbáid, agus ag cuir seirbhís sábháilte agus compordach ar fáil chuig Oileáin Árann.
Tugann ár gCairt Sábháilteachta Covid-19 breac-chuntas ar na prótacail bhreise atá glactha againn chun sábháilteacht ár bpaisinéirí agus ár bhfoireann a chinntiú. Caithfear cloí leis na bearta seo, atá leagtha amach faoi chomhairle na húdaráis ábhartha, an Eagraíocht Dhomhanda Sláinte (WHO) agus Feidhmeannas na Seirbhíse Sláinte (HSE) san áireamh. Leanfaimid orainn ag obair leis na húdaráis seo, ag nuashonrú ár gCairt Sábháilteachta agus ár dtreoirlínte más gá.
Iarraimid ar gach duine ar bord cuimhneamh go bhfuil dualgas cúraim orthu dá gcomh-phaisinéirí agus go háirithe muintir na nOileáin, ar éirigh leo go dtí seo na hoileáin a choinneáil saor ó Chóibhéis.
Tabhair faoi deara go gcaithfear clúdaigh aghaidhe a chaitheamh ar bord as seo amach.
Ullmhaigh le haghaidh fáilte chroíúil ar bord ár mbáid farantóireachta; ní féidir linn fanacht go bhfeicfidh muid arís sibh, agus tá súil againn go mbainfidh sibh sult as bhur dturas chuig Oileáin Árann.
Beannachtaí libh go léir,
Clann Uí Bhriain, agus an foireann ar fad ag Aran Island Ferries
