Aran Island Ferries Sailing Times and Prices

Rossaveel Ferry Departures

Aran Island Ferries offer year-round sailings to all three of the Aran Islands, Inis Mór (Inishmore), Inis Meáin (Inishmaan) and Inis Oírr (Inisheer) from Rossaveel port, 23 miles west of Galway city centre. The shortest ferry crossing to the Aran Islands is from Rossaveel to Inis Mór with a sailing time of 40-minutes.

There is a shuttle bus service available from Victoria Place in Galway for passengers who do not have their own transport to Rossaveel. Passengers are advised to present for boarding at least 20 minutes prior to their bus departure time.

Aran Island Ferries provide seasonal ferry travel to Inis Mór and the Cliffs of Moher from Galway City. with one daily departure at 9.30am.
