Travel to the Aran Islands/ Covid-19 (Coronavirus)
Public Notice
Aran Island Ferries and the residents of Inis Oírr, Inis Meáin and Inis Mór ask that tourists refrain from travelling until after the 29th of March.
While we appreciate that passengers are looking forward to their trips, the safety and well-being of the Island residents is of paramount importance.
This request is being made in an attempt to minimise both the short-term and the long-term effect this disease will have on these beautiful islands and their peoples.
At this time of crisis, we must all be socially responsible and look out for one another.
We will review the situation in due course, taking into account the updated guidelines from the WHO (World Health Organisation), the HSE (Health Service Executive), local authorities and the Island communities.
Should you decide not to travel, all confirmed bookings up to March 29th can be refunded by calling our office or emailing info@aranislandferries.com prior to this travel date.
Thanking you in advance for your patience and co-operation.

Iarrfann Aran Island Ferries agus muintir Inis Oírr, Inis Meáin & Inis Mór ar thurasóirí gan taisteal chuig na hoileáin idir seo agus 19ú Márta.
Tuigeann muid go bhfuil daoine ag tnúth lena dturas, ach tá tús áite ag sláinte agus sábháilteacht muintir na n-oileáin.
Tá an iarratas seo i bhfeidhm chun éifeachtaí gearr-théarmach agus fad-téarmach an víreas seo a laghdú do mhuintir na n-oileáin.
I rith an ghéarchéim seo, tá freagracht sóisialta orainn ar fad chun aire a thabháirt dhá chéile.
Déanfaidh muid athbhreithniú ar chúrsaí amach anseo, ag braith ar na treoirlínte tugtha ag an Eagraíocht Dhomhanda Sláinte (WHO), Seirbhís Sláinte Náisiúnta (HSE), údaráis áitiúil agus pobal na n-oileáin.
Ba mhaith linn buíochas a ghlacadh libh ar fad as ucht bhur foighid agus comhoibriú.
